ABSOLUTELY UNSAFE!! Took my children to the splash pad. First I want to say there needs to be rules implied and an age restriction, possibly someone monitoring this area and ensuring rules are implemented! You have people who drop their children off and don’t watch them and they be very young, these kids act crazy run around bumping into other children. Then you also have bigger kids who are too big for the play ground so why are they even using the splash pad!? The kids maybe 12yr old are playing tag knocking over small 1-4yr olds, running full speed as little kids are trying to just play in the water. Then you have even older like a 16yr old RUNNING AND JUMPING AROUND like it was a track. My child was knocked over multiple time bashing his head ON THE CEMENT GROUND!!! Absolutely unsafe!! And we will NOT be returning. Like always things get out of control when you think you have something nice to do with your children, kids with lack of parenting ruin it! Lots of others also left with their small children because these kids too big for this ruined it! These splash pads should be focused on a smaller age group and parents need to be present or there needs to be a person on duty to monitor sadly, because the cement ground with running with eyes closed and water not paying attention is absolutely unsafe and hospital visits waiting to happen! The bigger kids need to go to a pool! A family also had brought their dog to the splash pad….so hygienic and safe!!!!!! NEVER RETURNING AGAIN AND LETTING OTHERS KNOW NOT TO GO EITHER, ALLENTOWN NEEDS TO ENFORCE RULES...
Read moreMy daughter rented a pavilion from this place for my grandchild birthday there were no signs stating that the pavilion was rented anything else when I called whoever was in charge of the pavilion and I asked him about that they said just tell the people that you rented the pavilion so instead of spending my day enjoying the party I spent most of my day shooing off the alcohol drinkers and weed smokers I feel if I rented the pavilion it should be according to off what part I rented and that I rented and clearly marked so I shouldn't have to do this this does nothing but invite trouble also it doesn't allow me to enjoy myself as I should have done Allentown needs...
Read moreI really dig Boyle Park. There is something here for everyone - tennis, baseball field, open field for off leash dog play (not sure if this is legal or not). The bathrooms are a little antiquated, and the playground is broken up into several sections which makes it hard to keep an eye on children of various ages, but the park has a certain charm to it. When I used to live in Corte Madera, we would often head to Boyle Park on a summer's day to pop into the foggier side of the hill and get out of the strong heat just north of here. It can still be very sunny and hot at Boyle, but often more bearable than at...
