We read the reviews and based on them decided to eat here and sadly many of the reviews were exaggerated. We arrived on a Saturday night at 6 pm for dinner and found that there was a party about to take place but the waiter told us that it will start at 10 pm so we had plenty of time to eat. I honestly wish she told us that they can’t take us rather than be served the way we were. Server was nice but not experienced with food service. We ordered water and we got 2 water bottles ($2 each) with no cups or ice. We put in our order for one Riverside Sampler ($18) and River Mix Grill 2 ($40). My wife loves taking pictures of our dinners out and this is the first time she has not. The presentation was below average. The sampler looked like it was just dumped on the plate, the hummus had no olive oil drizzle..we’ve been to many middle eastern restaurants and the olive oil is a must and the platter was missing teams. My wife asked about the fattoush that was supposed to come with the platter and the server brought it out, which was fine but we were disappointed with how it was presented. Again this is not our first time eating at a middle Eastern restaurant. The mixed grill was extremely sad looking. We were informed that there was no rice after the meal came out not before, and we were looking forward to having that with our mixed grill and not extra pita bread. In the future if you are busy with an event and can’t take customers let the customer know so they can decide if they want to eat in your establishment or not rather than server them mediocre food and service. Also, I wish people would be honest with their reviews so customers would not...

So the Co-Workers and I decided to go to “RIVERSIDE RESTAURANT “ for lunch and it was a good choice. Other then the Owner needing some help she was a one band show. The Food was Great, she was very Nice and Great as well. We would definitely go back there again. If you’re in the area or ever thought about giving them a try , you should just call in to place your order ahead of time.
