Buena Vista Park — Attraction in Alma

This was a very nice, quiet, spot for a picnic lunch although I'm not sure I'd say its safe enough for kids that are like mine and dont listen and or little little ones whom r supper fast due to running towards the cliff in which I would have to say is my only concern as to ppl could fall off easy and let me tell ya my 6yr old well he gave me the scare of my life as he runs towards to look at all the beauty but my heart dropped into my stomach but also I'm afraid of heights lol so his dad got after him lol... so yeah if u dont mind the heights and dont have kidos it's a spot for sure to check out. This small park is what every park should be: inviting, clean, and well cared for. There is plenty of parking and easy access to hiking trails. There are well-situated tables--and a grill-- just waiting for families to picnic there, and a sturdy swing set for the kids to play on while adults set out the food. Best of all are the benches where everyone can pause and take in the sublime view. You can see for miles while birds soar below you, as they catch the updrafts. What a amazing place! A beautiful view of the small town of Alma! Cute little shops with nice staff. Walking from the top of Buena Vista down to the streets of Alma is a beautiful view and a very peaceful walk. Standing on the bridge when the train goes under you is an amazing thrill. I definitely recommend Buena Vista for taking pictures, looking for views, or a peaceful place...
