I love this place! Absolutely beautiful! It's a really great place to take your kids for a nice day away outside of the house. To get everyone away from electronics for a little while. There are a few hiking trails here that are wonderful. The paths are clean and easy to navigate, and if you need to rest at any point on the trails there are some benches to take a rest on or plenty of rocks. My favorite trail takes you all the way around lake Alma and takes you all the way to the damn you come out on the top it, with beautiful scenery all around you. Its most shaded so it's not so hot during the summer months. You can also fish here, they have a dock to fish on or you can bank fish. Just an all over great place for a family outing or by yourself or with friends. Can even have a picnic before you hit the trails. They have restrooms at the start and they are decent. So if you're looking for a nice outdoor adventure...

There's the remains of an old octagonal house and their outbuilding that's pretty cool to go check out.
They also have some Frisbee Golf, though I've never played the course.
It's pretty much just a fantastic park, and it's actually entirely maintained...
Read moreThe trail was shaded with lovely wild flowers. The water was flowing. There was some debris where the water had come up on the top side of the lake where the 2 streams flowed into the lake. It would have been helpful to have the trails marked a bit better with a clear explanation on the trailhead marquee. It was a good 1.5-2 hour hike completely around with streams, lake views, and wild flowers to keep...
