Read moreI visited this small water park with my granddaughter an discovered very quickly it was like a mad house. There was adults an teenagers running an jumping into the pool right over our head's an into our faces. It was quite aweful. I ask a life guard why they were allowing people to run an jump like that into the pools an I was told they have no rules. People can run on the concrete an they can jump over an around people as they wish. The only rules that water park was concerned with was no drinks or food in or around the pool area's. I seen a little boy fall an bust open his elbows from running. teenager's repeatedly scared an terrorized the smaller kids with their running an jumping into the pool. There was no relaxing in that pool AT ALL from all the jumping over our head's causing the water to knock us around like crazy. I know there's pools for the smaller kids to get into but my grandkids like being with me in the pool. The life guard I spoke with about the jumping was absolutely rude an let me know very quickly that there was no rules an people were allowed to jump in on or around the pools however they wished. Parot Ileland is a fantastic place to visit they don't allow people to jump on people's heads in the pools , the life guards are nice an the bathrooms don't...
Read moreWe have been to the park three times this year and my boys love it. We also went to Parrot Island in Fort Smith to compare before choosing where to purchase tickets. We opted for Alma because seating was easy for me to see my kids at any place in the park rather quickly. Parrot Island wasn't so. Alma should work on their intake line because you can stand in line for 20+ minutes depending on the time of day you come. Maybe the season pass holders should be able to walk up to the center section where you go left or right for male/female and get wrist bands there? Might be more beneficial then and increase memberships. You cannot bring anything to eat or drink in to the park. They want you to spend your money on their stuff. Which is fine. But, burgers in the food barn are honestly - terrible. Spend your money on something else until they get better meat. YUCK. The boys love the pool, the diving board, the slides. Oh, you're not allowed to bring in floaty type things. The concrete is super hot when it's not wet. It can burn your skin - kind of heat. So bring water shoes to protect your tootsies on a hot day. If you want to sit in the shade - get there early, otherwise it's roasty toasty time for you. Plenty of parking available. All the staff seem...
