Pizza Parlour Alma — Restaurant in Alma

Like most people in Alma Ive eaten here forever. Corey made this place pretty special. He's definitely missed. Had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the new manager today. I ordered 2 Larges, single topping. Total comes out to $26.03. Handed the guy ringing me up $2 cash and ask to split the purchase so I can use the 25$ sitting in my cash app. He proceeds to ring me up ask if Id like cheese and peppers per usual. When I asked for change he seemed confused. I began to explain that if the total was $26.03 and I paid in $27 that I am owed $.97. Confused he then went to Joe the manager. As I explained that Id just like the change from the transaction $.97 Joe begins to tell me that there is an extra fee for the card usage. Cool. I asked if he could just write down the math for me explaining the transaction because the receipt doesnt show this and Id like to gain some understanding, and if you dont mind signing it for me. I've been coming here since I was a kid and lemme tell ya, not only is their pizza my favorite, but the people are great too. Long story short, I ran out of gas on 71 and had to pull into the parking lot. (My car was totalled when someone pulled out in front of me and I've been having to drive my moms the last few days) It only took about 5 seconds for the guys at Pizza Parlour to come out and ask if I needed help. A stranger towed my car up the hill and the guys put some gas in it for me. They invited me and my daughter inside to get out of the heat, offered us drinks, and even gave me quarters for the quarter machine to get my daughter a toy. This isn't the first time they've been kind though, both Alma and Van Buren locations have offered to get the door for me while I was trying to carry both my toddler and the pizza out. These are such great people, I never want to buy pizza anywhere else....

You know... There's not many days out of the week where I stop to pause and think to myself, "wow that's really cool of them.." because of something kind someone did. There's not much kindness left in the world... People are mean and cruel... It overwhelms me... But today I went in and got my order and the man behind the counter told me to just take it... And gave me my food free!!! Don't know him or why... But I hope he sees this.. that was one of the kindest things I've ever seen yet alone had happen to me and the kindest and sweetest and generous thing anyone's done for me in a LONG time. The food is always amazing and management is incredible. Thank y'all if I didn't already say it.. made my week and I'll be back next time with bigger tips once my check...
