The Park was so nice! I walked the Huyler's Landing and Closter Dock Trail Loop from Alpine Headquarters, which is 5.2 miles. Its elevation is 634 ft. You can walk in sneakers, but I suggest you walk in hiking boots. From the trail, you can see the Hudson River and the view of Manhattan. Most of the time, trees block the sunlight, so it feels nice to walk even in the summer. The trail starts with walking in the forest near the highway and goes down to the shore of the Hudson River. Climbing the cliff back to where I started was hard. My friend and I cheered each other up to climb the hill. If you have not driven in Jersey, be careful when going there. My friend who grew up in Jersey drove me here. She said those highways are old, which means they are narrow. And Drivers overtook us from...
