It was beautiful. We enjoyed the hike to the lake, managing to keep traction on the rocks as we stepped over three different small waterways that crossed our path, and keeping my footing on the rocks and boulders, some surfaces were a little slippery from the sand/loose dirt. One suggestion: I would strike “easy” from the “easy to moderate” rating of this hike once you’re several minutes into the hike. 😅Maybe I was tired from a morning Y hike, but it felt more challenging than I expected.
