Santa Clara Regional Beach Access — Attraction in Alys Beach

I had the most awesome Thursday morning ever at this beach! The sand was soft, fluffy, and white. The water was cool and blue-green. I definitely see why this is called the emerald coast. My group arrived at the beach early, around 6 am, so parking was not an issue for us. We were also able to pick the perfect spot to lounge. The beach attendants were extremely nice and helpful as well. This beach was great for relaxing, playing with the kids, and spending quality time with friends and family.There was not a lot of extra stuff going on at this particular access point, and that was exactly what I was looking for. It had everything I needed, soft white sand and water. Every time I think about a great day at the beach, I will always think of Santa Clara beach.

Be careful where you park, especially if you're parking a golf cart. We received a $100 fine for parking on the pine straw. There is nothing posted stating there is no parking there. We pulled in after someone in a golf cart pulled out of the space. We noticed that several others were ticketed on days following our receipt of the ticket.
