Terrible customer service! We had an issue with our room and missed a full beach day having to switch condos. They will tell you that we were over capacity for the room but the paperwork they gave us with our keys at check-in stated a max occupancy that differed from what they claim the max occupancy is (4 vs. 2). Given the loss of a beach day due to the discrepancy in paperwork on their end, we were looking to get reimbursed for the lost day, or at least a discount for a future stay. I was told I would hear back on Monday and heard nothing. Waited until Tuesday afternoon and followed up and left a voicemail but did not get a call returned. Called back Wednesday and asked to speak to someone else because Alaina, the woman I had been working with, "was not at her desk." I was then transferred to Erin who told me we were over capacity and there was nothing they could do, to which I replied I had a picture of the welcome packet they gave us that stated a different capacity than what they were claiming. She asked me where I got it and I again stated it came in the welcome packet they had just given me! She replied, "send me the picture and I will go talk to the front desk and call you right back." Fast forward over 24 hours and I still did not get a call back. I called one last time and was conveniently told that Erin "was not at her desk." What a surprise. Even if there was nothing they were willing to do they could at least have the courtesy to follow-up with me and tell me that. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Will never do business...
Read moreTerrible service! I booked a house with Garrett Realty in October of 2019 for the upcoming July and got a call the following month that the owner of the property backed out. I had already paid the deposit and planned travel with three different families. I was very understanding and found another house through them and booked that house for the same timeframe in July. I also paid the deposit on this location and again, received a call today in January that the owner of this property backed out as well. I was obviously upset as we have paid for travel expenses as well as had to have three families plan together to get every ones schedule matched. The Garrett realty rep could have cared less as she thought I was being disrespectful to her that I was mad. I will never book with this company again and I am giving fair warning to potential customers that they expect your deposit for a guarantee from the customer but in no way give you any guarantees and can and will back out...
Read moreDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.... I called 08/03 to cancel a trip that I had put down a deposit of $588.00 in June. Yes, I signed a contract that you could cancel 60 days prior however, I had been sick with COVID and offered a doctor’s notes to prove this, I was at day 50 today. They would not give me any type of credit back on my card or a credit towards a future use. Worst customer service ever. However, I called the FL Attorney General’s office and told them what had happened, and they walked me through filing a complaint against this company. I loved it when this was under the other management. This company only thinks about the dollar. How would they feel if they had to eat $588.00? Please deleted this because I will post it...
