This is a beautiful, peaceful place. There are numerous playgrounds for the kiddos with large fishing ponds and plenty of shade trees. The Amarillo Zoo and Wonderland Water Park are also snugged in to this park. The park is kept very clean and the groundwork also includes nature trails. This is an ideal place to spend time with the family. The only thing not to like about this place is that you can't stay forever. In its entirety, this is a kids dream, and I'm a big kid at heart. I was there for 10 minutes before catching a nice catfish that made my nephew dance around. Admission is free. The fishing is free. The good times are free. But the rapture reflected in your children's eyes...

Amazing park, always fun to come by. Large park with lots of green areas and lots to do. Lots of trees and shade and the grass is very green! It's also very clean and well maintained. Picnic tables and paved trails all throughout the park. There's a couple of playgrounds, including a really neat pirate ship themed one, but that one is usually packed. There's a pretty large dog park in it too. There's a lake with a walking trail and benches around it. And of course, there's the zoo attached! You can see into the zoo from the outside at different parts of the park. I was able to see a fox and a camel from outside the zoo. Very comfortable place. Overall, it's a great park that me...

I would rate this a 4 or 5 star park usually but we went there to fish today and were very upset to see a lot of dead fish floating, as a fishing enthusiast it was very upsetting to see the habitat disturbed by some kind of remote control boat exhibition or race because the boats are hitting the fish and killing them then they are just leaving the fish in the water to die. This is one of the few fishable places in Amarillo and we spend many days there fishing and to see some of the memorable fish we have caught and released floating was disheartening to say the least. People need to respect nature or take their boats...

Not impressed by the Grove Disc Golf park. It was difficult to find my way around. Couldn’t find the basket for hole 4. Just seemed very disorganized and there was so much trash and glass all over the course. I’ve never seen so much glass on a disc golf course. It was EVERYWHERE. The lakes were also full of trash, and I saw a dead turtle. Just not really impressed at all by this course. I don’t know how it is considered a B+ course…
