Tascosa Drive In — Local services in Amarillo

First I will start by simply saying WOW. My misses and I hadnt been since we were kids and with the recent events that have happened in town, we wanted to support locally and go on a date night and landed on this because of there amazing advertising on the facebook page. So we got her little cousin and set off to watch two disney movies this evening. As soon as we got to the gate, we were greeted by the friendliest man who if I remember correctly is named brent. This man was amazing, gave us an entire run down of the place and other local businesses with coupons and alot of information! Then we paid our entry and food pass and found a great spot! They have a nice area for the kiddos to play so we killed sometime by swinging and playing on a merry go round which is wild to say in the year 2025 so thank you for that nostalgic ride. The little one mentioned being hungry and so we got to check out the concessions online and placed an order and within 10 minutes, we had a variety of hot, fresh food to enjoy with our movies! The staff at both lines were so so kind and im thankful for them all as well! Personal plus for me was having to go to the bathroom and being afraid to miss a moment in the movie when as im doing what I gotta do, I hear the audio from the movie playing on a speaker in the bathroom!!! This was an amazing night of family fun and im excited to come back here as much as I can this and all further seasons. Sitting here watching MI and the station SUVKS so BAD ITS A SHAME IF THIS CONTINUES WE WONT COME HERE WE HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO WATCH THE MOVIE IM DRIVING AROUND JUST TO FIND A SIGNAL WHICH IS RIDICULOUS ESPECIALLY AFTER 20 BUCKS JUST ABOUT EVERY CAR HAS.LEFT FOR SAME REASON ITS NICE TO HAVE THIS DRIVE INN BUT NOT WITH TESE CONDITIONS

So yes I ASKED Thank You I saw you had a review about sound quality 2 and 4 yrs ago So maybe time for an upgrade as they recommend on those REVIEWS or better station IDK ITS not meant to put you Down we like the Drive in prefer it than Theater We come to Amarillo and this is one the attraction to make sure and go all the months we are here but I just don't have money to spend on movie and not be able to clearly hear it or at all I have nice system to get that theater sound but loud static NO THANKS It was just disappointing ☹️ especially since we were not able to be in Amarillo as long as we usually are...

I’m visiting my friend here in Amarillo and we were recommended to go to this movie theatre from our wonderful waitress at k-n drive in (check it out for some awesome service and root beer floats !) and let me tell you this theatre was one of the highlights of my trip! It’s recently been reopened with new ownership we were told- and that we should come out to support its new journey and so we did for the double feature of twisters. We were greeted at the gate by the ever so friendly Mr. Bing, who told some funny jokes while our payment processed. He explained everything effieciently and was very sweet + friendly! We pulled in and got settled and turned our radio on to the station- sound worked perfectly, the screen was clear, and we just had the best time eating yummy food with blankets and pillows in the car.
