😲 WOW! I'll repeat 🔁 the word again so you don't have to turn on Google Translate, 😲 WOW! That is what I felt when I first saw the view available at the park 🏞️. The fall foliage, the spinning windmills, MT Kitaden (?), the ocean 🌊 and the Isle of Shoals. There was even a tour group there as well The park 🏞️ has two trails connected to it. One leads to a lake, the other, to old farming land. Make sure your automobile brakes work! Parking is limited. The park is wheelchair and stroller accessible. The two trails are not wheelchair accessible, but, I would recommend a heavy duty stroller with hand brakes because both trails descend down a hill. I recommend a visit.

Batchelder Park feels like a hidden gem. It’s never crowded when I go. Granted, I only visit every other month or so. The park is located atop a hill up a residential street relatively close to the border of NH. It leads to a vague stopping point where there’s a field, and if you are able to see very far, you’d be looking NE toward Cider Hill. There’s a bench there, but the hill is just fine for sittin’. I go up there sometimes after a visit to the Bakehouse to eat my scone.

Very nice intense trail. Not too many people the time i came. Just one woman walking with her dog. Amazing views. Get some boots, hiking shoes or some good shoes. Lots of trees, birds, small lake/pond...

You can make a great hike from Lake Gardner up Bachelder or Powow Trail or combine with a walk from Battis farm. The woods behind this hill are the best in Amesbury especially since you can catch the sunrise over the ocean from up here! I'd give it 5 stars for all of the above but for a park that people drive to for sporting it's not the place to go in Amesbury. There's 2-3 parking spots and a small field at the top. It's best for hiking or walking from one if the other...

This is a public park located on Pole Hill or Powwow Hill depending on what you called it as a child growing up in Amesbury. Great for walking but be ready for some steep hills. Dogs are allowed, and there are waste stations with doggy dooooo bags available, please use them. Entrances are located around the hill, by the public gardens, public beach, or driving to the top of the hill. The view is spectacular on a clear day. You may see the mountains of Maine and the beaches...
