It is a lovely lake that has good accessibility and parking and offers a wide variety of activities. The water was warm and clean. The small beach and swimming area was delightful. Families and patrons were kind and respectful. Shoutout to Kyle, an Amesbury Park employee working at the lake. He went above and beyond to help our group of kids feel safe and welcome and get our kayak gear in and out of the appropriate areas. He also did an exemplary job tending to all the people there and ensuring everyone was safe, following the rules, being respectful, and keeping the area organized and clean. Warm and welcoming employees like Kyle make me want to return to Amesbury's many beautiful places. He is the perfect example of the type of person that makes Amesbury such an extraordinary place!
