We went for the dinosaur exhibit and it was not what was advertised. Part of it was fun. The kids enjoyed it, sort of. I think we had the wrong age with us. 2 kids we're a little too old and one was a bit too young. We had two 15 year old girls and one almost 2 year old. The teens were done in about an hour and ready to leave. The little one was sort of frightened and struck to us like glue (which is good in a crowded place like that). The teens were too old for the extras. (Ride a dino, and the big dino slide) and the little guy was afraid of it all but eventually went down the slide once when a little girl we didn't know helped him climb up. (No adults allowed on the slide) Then out was time to eat and there were only 2 choices. Two food trucks. I like good food trucks, but these were not good. Long line for a hot dog that was way over priced. Then we went into another display tent on our way to leave. Finally something interesting. Real fossils of real dinosaurs. Several different types. Fosilized dino eggs. Fossilized nest with several just hatched dino skeletons. Various bones. And all had good information with them. Then we left. The parking had been tricky when we arrived as there were too many cars parked in the lot. One person had parked their car in the middle of the go around road to find parking. Nobody could get around this car so it ended up jamming up the parking lot because there was one way in and one way out. This car was still there when we left! Fortunately the weather was great and we had a good time being out with the kids. I just would not recommend wasting your money on the...
Read moreTherr were MANY stalls and quite a few activities! Tarot card reading, learn how to use a whip etc. Everyone was very nice and cordial. They put on some shows at the stage. There were amazing singers and an awesomely hilarious juggler whom I recommend anyone over 16 should watch. They blasted off small cannons, which scared me to death, but it was cool! There was also battles and a belly dancer! Wish there were more food stalls though. That is my only quip. There were only two of em. So long lines, long wait in the blasted sun. Thr mead is super good too. They sold whole bottles of it at the entrance! Overall, great job this year. I hope the next time is just the same, or even better! Just please, more...
Read moreI wish there were a way to give zero stars. If the people running this fair think their experience with kidnapping, from the 9-year-old daughter of Jessica Long, and then KILLING Cedar the goat has been "negative," they haven't seen anything yet. The administrators', and the sheriff's department's behavior toward both goat and child is sociopathic. I grieve with this girl & believe that someday when she gets to heaven, Cedar will be waiting to greet her joyously. Melanie Silva will probably still be having the hellish experience, while she works on untangling what made her so completely cold-hearted. "Rules count for more than feelings" is sociopathic thinking. Find a good...
