I was referred to Nor Cal Carpet Brokers by a friend of a friend after trying a couple of other local places and either getting completely ghosted or having too much of a salesman vibe for buying flooring. I dealt with a few people in my process from Austin, Brian, Hillary, and the installers Chad and Scott. From the first interaction with Austin I felt he had my vision and budget in mind. I never felt pitched or sold on anything. He was very informative and explained the process and products on the market to where I could understand as a layman. I also dealt with Brian as I changed my mind a couple times, and he was just as great as Austin! He helped me find a good carpet for the right price. This place had the absolute BEST customer service ever! I feel like these days it’s hard to find both good workmanship and good customer service in a package deal and this place delivered on both of those things. I had several hiccups in other parts of my remodel and Austin was there to help me through the process to make the flooring part go as smooth as possible so I could deal with all the other things that came up. We shopped for flooring at several different places and was displeased with the customer service we received until we found Nor-cal Carpets. The service was impeccable! From the moment we entered the shop we felt important. We were helped by the owner I believe, she went over And above to help us pick out the right color and price flooring we wanted. They were able to install quickly and we love our new floors. We also want to give a shout out to their employee Hillary! After a visit there again yesterday, I realized they are going to be doing my house. It is often confusing to me to try and decide what is going to be a good choice (that I am going to have to live with!) Brian and his secretary helped me with the many choices they had. I love the feel of carpet, but the cleanup of a laminate- so I am going with both. They explained the pros and cons of both and it makes sense- I will be looking forward to rewriting this review after the install- surely, it will be nothing less than spectacular.
