There was a chilly breeze rising from the wood-chipped trail, today. I had found this entrance off a residential street. Westwood, though on Google maps it only mentioned Arborview. Not much green, here in bushes or trees. It's all brown. ... In only a few days and weeks, the tiniest and quickest changes will transform Miller Park, and the canopy will shade it, too. Im sure I will see bright green skunk cabbage and wildflowers like jack-in-the-pulpit and trillium. I couldn't walk too fast and did not care to do that. There are short circular loops and small hills. I could have sat there and simply listen to the variety of bird calls. I have a bird identification app, but I did not even care to look them up. What joy! The proximity to this neighborhood, attracted the only annoyance. Another kind of loop! The loud sing-song loop of the familiar ice-cream truck. Note to self: avoid the weekends I will penetrate deeper next time. This is a healing place for me and I will check.out a bench...
