I Love everything about the Antioch Historical Society Museum. I will definitely be back.. if you have not gone you need to go and check it out. If you are like me and Love your history and lived here forever or even just a little while go check it. But plan for the whole 3 hours they are open so you can check out everything. For you sports nuts, like me it is so cool to see all the people in your home town sports. The basement is totally sports cave.. it is so awesome... put this on your bucket list. It's in your home town and its FREE. so stop by Wednesday 1pm til 3pm or 4pm. Saturday 1pm til 3pm or 4pm I forget which time but you will definitely need all these hours to check this place out... The very knowledgeable staff treat you like family welcoming you into what feels like their home. Walking through the doors and stepping into each room feels as though you’re teleported back in time. Read moreI’ve been living here for 18 years never have I been to this museum. So today I decided to go check it out. I was warmly greeted at the front door. I signed my name at the visitors book and then Judy a volunteer showed me around and explained each and every room with details and history. It is a very well organized museum. Every room fascinated me by its decor and design. It was as if I walked back into history. The one that surprised me the most was the downstairs.
