Evike Outpost Antioch — Attraction in Antioch

Management at Evike Antioch is much better now than the previous management. I bought a Tandemkross CTHULHU airsoft pistol while I was in San Antonio. I tried to adjust the Hop Up but could not because the gears were jammed. I took the Pistol to Evike to see if some there could adjusted we learned something was wrong with it. We all agreed something was way wrong with the Hop Up. I ordered an Action Army Hop Up Chamber. When it arrived it took the gun and hop up chamber to Evike. Jared the Gunsmith was there and remembered me from the earlier visit. I told them I have the new part and Rodney got to work on it straight away. I went and mailed a letter. When I got back the gun was done and Rodney showed me the work, test fired it and adjusted the Hop Up. The cost was $20.00 the pistol is a beast now. They have a huge selection of Rifles, Pistol, Protection gear and a heck of a lot more. Evike is awesome and a real Treasure for Antioch. If you are getting into airsoft this is the best place to go to they are also the Game Pod which is attached to them as they share the same huge were house. I use to play airsoft as a kid but unfortunately dropped out of it due to changes in my life. As an adult I was so excited to get back into the culture and see what the current world of airsoft has to offer. My friend and I set a date, and made a trip over to Evike Antioch for our first gun purchases. While I was initially impressed with the selection and setup within the sales floor, I was less than blown away by the staff.

Getting someone just to help us look at some weapons seemed like a chore, and while the member who helped us seemed very knowledgeable - he was very dismissive and judgmental of many of the brands/models they sold. The overall attitude he presented just did not seem to represent someone who was welcoming to new members. I also noticed several other staff members just hanging about talking amongst each other, even sleeping on the job!

In the end, we found something for both of us and we were satisfied. However, I'm not sure if I would shop at this location again solely on the experience I had with the staff. Might just stick to the online store.

I do not know how to describe my feeling about this place after played a private game with my group last weekend. The place is big and easy to locate in Antioch (biggest indoor place I have ever played). I don’t really want to leave low rating as it could hurt the business but the Referee here is a joke. He was terrible during out 3.5 hours session. We played 4 games ạnd he did nothing to ensure the game was played approriately and safety as any other Referee I been with. He did not even want to explain the game play in stagging area (he explained but like he did not care were everyone understood or have any question). When the game began, he disappear like a smoke and when the game was ended, he didn’t even bothwr check if any 1 removed their mag and any bb left in the champer. I found he was sitting at a corner and play game on his phone.
