Okay I actually love this place, but it’s not perfect. I’ve been to almost every single skate park in Phoenix and this one is in my top 3.
The good:
It’s built specifically for skateboarding so most skaters can hit about almost every angle in the park
The ramps are the perfect size for launching. Not too big but enough to shred the gnar
Easy parking
The bad:
The rails suck, there’s one decent one.
No stair sets.
It’s also missing a decent ledge or drop. I love tall ledges to drop from. They have zero. They have some boxes instead which doesn’t count.
Watch out for the kids on scooters because they don’t pay attention to jack. I’ve had to bail hard a couple times because kids lack any sense of self awareness and the parents could care less.
Verdict:
Amazing ramps. Good bowl to drop in on. Good size, decent flatland spots, can get a little crowded. If you are looking for a park to hit up give this one a...

The layout was cool, and I was able to use some parts of the park to practice some moves. The people I encountered there were friendly and nice, I wouldn’t mind to go back, just a bummer that some areas are in need of repair or smoothing out. If they did that, I would definitely enjoy it a lot more and rate it higher. Plus visit more...
Read moreEh, I wouldn’t recommend visiting this park at night. Reason being, I’ve seen a couple of homeless individuals here at night. Hence, doesn’t make for a safe environment (especially for children). Oliver (puppy) and I enjoyed a puppy play date here during the day. This being mentioned, Apache Junction Skatepark is preferred during the day. To add, this park is infested w/ litter. Maybe, refrain from visiting this park at night to avoid homeless individuals, avoid the smelling of recreational drugs to ensure a...
