Apple Valley Community Center — Attraction in Apple Valley

I need to say the kid program's this place provides are great. My kids love the community events here. Go to the frozen Apple and sign up to see Santa. Open gym for tots is free and they have some balls and things for kids to play with. However, it is a basic Community Center. They have ice rinks, basketball ball courts, and volleyball courts. Super busy community center for Apple Valley. It is in the same parking lot as the senior center, ice rink, and VAA field house and nearby youth athletic fields so it is chaotic and parking can be a challenge. The center provides good services and indoor sports including open gym for families. You can rent rooms and there is a small game room. The employees are not always the most knowledgeable or helpful. Open gym isn’t very welcoming. Tried to play volleyball air badminton today and people were very clicky. No structure to moving players in and out off the court. Didn’t feel like forcing my way into a game so I asked for a refund. Lady at the front desk said that wasn’t allowed but obliged. Pickleball is always in the morning and super busy.
