Update: my review below is from the most recent time that we ones. It was in large contrast to our initial visit. We were so excited at the first time went well that we bought friends back the second time. Unfortunately, one of our friends found a staple in his food. A few of the other meals tasted sour as if ingredients that were used were no longer good. Alongside this, we had a waitress who did not know how to use their ordering system, and we had to figure it out, and then teach her, while the manager just watched. Service took a really long, and we had to get someone every single time we needed some thing. Lastly, to combat are poor experience, we were given a $20 gift card, but it could only be used at that store location. I don’t know about you, but after an experience like that, you don’t even wanna go back and use money at the same place anymore. Although we had a good initial experience, we will not be going back after this last one.
We had a great time here! Because we are Asian, we are extra picky about our Asian foods, and Ichiddo did not disappoint.
We brought our 3 kids (all under 10) and they were great about the kids and even brought us cute little “kid-proof cups” without us having to ask.
We ordered: regular ramen in broth, stir fry ramen (dried noodle dish), spicy cucumber, shredded char siu donburi, gyoza (dumplings), char siu pork, beef short ribs, milk tea, and strawberry yokult. The only thing that was even slightly not to our liking was the short ribs and the fact that they were a bit chewy—BUT, this is personal preference and not that it’s “bad”. We loooved all of the dishes and will definitely be back.
Service was attentive and quick. We got there about 30 minutes after they opened and it stayed steadily busy—not crowded or empty. Microwaveable to-go boxes available!
With a 15% tip, we spent $100 for our family of 5. Definitely try this place out for a great selection of asian food in the Apple...
Read moreFirst, I ordered carry out. I was greeted when I walked in. The restaurant is very beautiful!!
The order took a little longer than the website said as the site seems to default to 15 minutes no matter what. I ordered Char siu Ramen and Beef Ramen. Gyoza and roasted Char Siu.
The Ramen was very flavorful and looked great. I really enjoyed my food and I would order it again. For carryout, it does come in a bowl with the ramen broth in a separate container. The instructions on the ramen bowl do say to heat the broth and ramen noodles for 1 minute. The Ramen noodles and toppings are cold in the bowl, and it is my opinion that maybe the broth should come hot enough to heat the noodles and toppings. So keep this in mind if you are getting carryout but not planning to go directly to someplace you can easily heat it up (like a hotel).
The side items, Pot Stickers, and roasted Char siu were very good as well, I would order again.
Overall, my carryout experience was good, good service, and good food. I definitely will try the dine...
Read moreThe service was terrible, every other employee was okay but their is this one specific old lady that I recommend you avoid at all cost every-time I go in their she will always try to put in the back where there was nobody (you gotta wonder what message that gives off), even when there are multiple booths up front, I don’t want to make this a race thing but I do believe it’s because I am a black male because this is the 3rd time she has done this. Other than that the food was good and the other employees were ok but she made my experience horrible and I had to tell another employee to ask her to bring my water after I placed my order because she was just standing there laughing and joking around with...
