This is an excellent park! I take my summer camp students here every year, and we always have a blast! The entire park is one big rectangle, surrounded on all sides by apartment buildings. In the middle of the park is the playground/splash pad. One of the things that makes this park ideal for my group is that the playground and splash pad are right next to each other in one big semi-circle of concrete, with a large gazebo with picnic tables right in the middle on one side. The splash pad is one of the biggest ones in the area with several different types of sprayers and buckets that dump. The kids can go freely from the splash pad to the playground and back again. This does mean the playground is always wet, but the kids love it. This also makes it easy to keep on eye on everyone while having a shady spot for home base and lunch right there in the gazebo. Another huge plus is there is an actual bathroom right by the splash pad with two individual, locking toilet spaces with baby change tables.
The rest of the park is open grass with few trees sprinkled here and there. There are lots of picnic tables, mostly near the play area. There are also some cute little things like a xylophone and wooden swing along the sidewalk paths and an area with large rocks my students love to climb around on.
On another note, in the summer on Friday evenings, they also have live music in the bandstand off to one side...
Read moreJust moved to the area recently, we loved this park! It’s perfect! Not crowded when there is no event, have enough picnic tables & grills for everyone. Dog friendly. The splash pad is simple but fun & spacious for my 1,3&4 to run around. The playground is a perfect size, not too big nor small. Great for kids in all ages. But be cautious because some wet kids plays in the playground so it’s can be slippery & danger. My 1&3 slipped & falls a fews time. So be cautious in case your kids are small like mine & slipped in the wrong spot, they can get hurt.
AND UNFORTUNATELY, this park will be remodeling into a bigger park which its will be even more fun! I did not look closely but I hope they will still have...

Beautiful to see kids playing in the splash pad ( during summer ) and in the plays sets throughout the year. There are various entertainment events happening during summer in the park. And the people make it all the more special. Amply parking for your cars around the park and each sides. The cherry blossoms are breathtaking in spring! Trees are very pretty and adds so much color to the city itself. Surrounded by beautiful apartment complex seems like a safe park to play for all. Great for gatherings with family...
