Awful experience. Been a few times to this location and will never go back. They are paying employees to steal your cart when you are 6 ft from it and not death gripping it. Allison, the employee/claim to be manager, steals your cart when you are not looking and then talks to you like a child.
When I questioned why my cart was taken, after I walked away from it for less than five minutes, she continuously repeated herself saying you “have to be attached to your cart at all times” and that “I announce over the intercom every half hour to not leave your carts unattended”. You cannot hear anything over the intercom and she expect everyone that walks in the door, to know every rule for the Outlet. Sorry, I didn’t want to run people over with a cart to go to the new bins that were restocked.
I said that I had a water bottle my cart, in which she said the store does “not allow you to bring outside food or water in”.
I finally asked, “So, am I able to get my cart back? What if there were personal belongings in there?” She said that she does not “dump it in case there are personal belongings.”
She argued with a gentleman for 15-20 minutes and refused to give his cart back to him, which had his personal belongings in it. He said he was there all day and he walks away for a couple of minutes, to then come back to his cart gone. She threatened to call the cops on him because he wanted his personal belongings back, when she is the one who stole them.
I have gone to multiple bin locations in WI, IL, MN, and FL. I’ve never had an experience like...
Read moreBy far THE WORST bin location that I have been to. Not only are the bins extremely dirty with broken glass/sharp objects at the bottom but the staff are EXTREMELY rude. They change the rules every time I visit. I watched a few people get yelled at because they were looking at the bins near the bin they were replacing. The staff did not go and ask them to move, they just got yelled at for standing there and not knowing the rule of the day.
Not only are bins dirty and staff are rude but they do take out any high dollar value items as well, so good luck finding any hidden treasures. Maybe if the location was at least clean or kept their bins clean I could deal with the rudeness but trust me when I say you will leave this building feeling like you donned 3 new layers of grime.
Honestly avoid this location, take the trip to Madison or elsewhere. They don’t deserve the business here, they most definitely only cater to themselves and their few loyal friends that shop there.
I would rate this location MUCH...
Read moreI love digging through and finding good deals. Unfortunately, the staff is very rude. I have two well-behaved teenagers that shop with me regularly. Today, one was told that he needed to be next to a parent at all times (I can understand if he was a young child that was running around or getting in the way or being problematic...he was just quietly looking in the bins.) Then, when he strayed away from his dad to look in the next bin over, they made a condescending announcement about kids having to be at the same bin as their parents. We have shopped there dozens of times with our teens, and it has never been an issue. They are well-behaved and responsible- they aren't bothering anybody. It's silly that Goodwill outlet keeps coming up with new rules every other week regarding children. Especially since some of the grown adults shopping there are super aggressive and problematic. I would love to know the reasoning for this, because it doesn't...
