Chicago Grill — Restaurant in Appleton

Friday 02/07/2025 Placed an online order through doordash for the first time quite different from my usual dining in experience at this establishment. My order was for two 6-piece chicken wing dinners what I got versus what I received was two orders of chicken winggets thoes little drumsticks & flats they were refried dry & hard wit little to no seasoning and the fries were soggy not freshly cooked very disappointing I sent $37 dollars & some change and got bullshit in return.

I called spoke with someone on the phone about my order told him what the problem was and in no-way shape or form did he try to resolve the issue. I stated to him what my order was verses what I received. When dining within the establishment I always order the 6-piece chicken wings special which consist of 6 whole chicken wings, fries & a free soda, I was told oh I'm sorry but we've "Neve" sold/ sale whole chicken wings just winggets🫤😡 I then explained to him 3× & was told he has worked there for years & they have never sold/sale whole chicken wings. So I directed him to the online menu & it clearly says 6 piece or 10 piece chicken wings "Not" winggets I was not offered a refund nor was I offered a replacement meal.

My family and I dine here quite often and we really enjoy the food, the cashier always very nice and polite the cooks as well we've never had a problem the service nor the food, everything is always fresh and freshly cooked, but tonight the the service was trash very disappointed and...

I visited this establishment in September of 2022, being a Chicago native I was excited to try a place that expressed serving my hometown dishes. We had an Italian beef and a gyro. The food was delicious, watch out for the giardiniera it’s very spicy and can put your Italian beef out of commission. The fries we got were very good and perfectly crispy. Seating at the establishment was adequate for the type of restaurant. Decor was cool.

I will be returning to try more dishes but I would say that it’s a decent substitution for a Chicago place.

The only thing knocking off a star is the serving sizes. They are medium sandwich prices for small sandwiches. Give me a big beef option for a few bucks more and give me a 10” sandwich or a big gyro option like the spots in Chicago. I...

I love this place. The owner is super friendly and welcoming every time I've been in. Can do take out, dine inside, or dine outside. Has a very comfortable, cozy feel to it that I would recommend for a casual date or first date. Has one tiny, unintrusive tv in the corner, that is quiet enough to not distract from conversation and loud enough to hear if you wanted to.

I've only had gyros and traditional teryaki chicken wings. If you order a gyro, be sure to ask for a cup of feta. The gyros are quite large but could use a little more flavor (good but not wonderful). The wings are much better and less expensive than BWW (6/$6 or 10/$10, large and wonderful) and I highly recommend. There is a nice variety of canned and bottled drinks...
