Los Angeles County Arboretum Service Yard — Attraction in Arcadia

I love this place! First time I came here was as a kid in elementary school, first time coming back here as an adult. $15.00 entrance fee, free parking. You can get admission tickets at the door even though the website said online only.

I love how peaceful it is here, came here on a Sunday afternoon and took approximately 3 hours to walk through almost the entire place. I love that they section each area with particular areas around the world and each part is vastly different. My favorite has to be the sequoia trees and the redwood trees. Love the rose garden as well! The Queen Anne cottage looks a little spooky across the way from a dried up lake bed but it is still so very pretty.

It is a great place to come to for an afternoon stroll. Bring a hat, it gets very sunny. There are water fountains along the way to refill you...
