Pops 66 — Attraction in Arcadia

So me and my wife showed up at 5:50 p.m. to get dinner and we did not get dinner at 7:10 as we left we had our order cancel when we brought it to the manners attention we were told they were short-staffed which I understand then follow proceeded by the remark of at least we're not standing around and doing nothing I have watched multiple customers get up and leave I've watched custom have to go behind the counter and get their own condiments and get your own silverware the following day I called the store and tried to talk to the manager and lately had the same reply for shortstop she did not want to hear what I thought I've been in this business for 15 years so I do no it's like to be short staff I have ran into it myself but you don't tell a customer to have a nice day and then hang up on them I will not ever step foot in a pops again the customer service and the food and the environment the restaurant was dirty never got the taste of food the service is the lack thereof I would not recommend anyone is in a hurry or wants to join the evening and eat some food and time in a minute to visit this location you will wait approximately 2 hours for your food from the time you get there to the time you...

My granddaughter wanted to celebrate her birthday here as just a cool different place for family to experience. Full disclosure, her uncle was about 30 minutes away at the time that everyone else was there .They would not seat us until he arrived . I do understand and respect business policy , however the same 2 booths they eventually sat us , were the same 2 booths that were vacant and available when we initially arrived. I was told that we could order food and eat it outside if we wanted to . While waiting the kids were climbing a rock wall that is on the back side of the property and the staff yelled at their parents. Again I do respect policies , but there was nothing posted , just thought the delivery was rude . I did order onion rings and they were great . The gentleman that eventually waited on us (after finally be seated 15 - 20 minutes later ) was nice and friendly . While this place is a busy spot , the actual dining area wasn’t even busy ( booths and tables alike were available the entire time we were there ) . Pops on Route 66 is an absolute must-stop and truly a blast from the past! The retro vibe makes you feel like you’ve stepped right back into the golden age of diners.
