My exonly gives yoperience...we arrive to checkin and no one is at the front counter. I ring the bell..nothing. finely 15 minutes later the clerk comes from down the hall (this is important for later). She checks us in, very robotic like. I have to ask for the wifi password. We got to our room on the 2nd floor and there is a putrid smell in the hallway, I have no idea what the smell is. We get into our room and we have no toilet paper. I call the front desk multiple times and there is no answer. I call housekeeping and the mailbox is full. As we are unpacking from our travels I can hear EVERY word the people in the room next to us are saying....every word. There are no sound barriers whatsoever, no privacy. We head downstairs to the front desk to get some toilet paper. Guess what...the clerk isn't there again. We decide to go to the casino and blow off some steam. As we walk down the hall to the casino we pass a gift shop. Well guess who was in the gift shop talking to her friend...it was the front desk clerk. So THAT is where she keeps disappearing. The casino in 99% slots and 4 card tables. They only had 3 tables open and every time we went back to play they were all full. We sat at the bar and had a drink. Drinks were $4.00 each. Not bad I guess. I'm used to free drinks when I gamble, but I dont play slots. We head to the snack bar to grab a quick bite to eat since we have been traveling for 5 hours and haven't had dinner. I had an order of fries, my husband had a hot dog and fries. It took 10 minutes to get our food. The food was fine. Nothing bad, nothing good to say. We ended our night and went to bed. The blankets are paper thin. We froze our butts off all night long. The hotel only gives you 2 pillows. I'm used to getting 4...2 for each person. It's been a rough night. Uncomfortable and cold and cant sleep. I wish they didnt have a 48 hour cancellation notice. I am booked for two nights and I do not want to stay...

They will literally steal your money here. Do NOT use the ATMs here. I went on a Saturday night (1/7/23). Attempted to take $100 out of ATM. The ATM displayed an error message and stated it would not dispense funds or charge the ATM fee. My account was debited anyhow. I contacted a casino manager. He claimed the money was not debited even though my bank clearly was displaying that it was. He claimed that the bank would credit my account back once the transactions were reconciled. This was not true. My bank instantly reconciled and posted the withdrawal on that Monday (1/9). The charge included the $100 and 3.99 ATM fee as well as an additional $3 fee for non-ATM transaction. It has now been 7 days, the alleged reversal never came. That night while trying to have the issue resolved by their management, I found out I was NOT the first person who had been robbed by the ATM that night. A woman had $300 stolen approximately 20 minutes before. Instead of placing the obviously malfunctioning ATM out of service, they left it open to continue to rob unsuspecting patrons. The manager gave me a signed printout acknowledging that the ATM robbed me, claiming I could drive back in 7 days if I didn’t get my money back, and I left empty handed. Cocopah left $100 richer in ill gotten gains.

At Cocopah, they skip the middle man and don’t just take all of your money at the slots, they rob you straight from the ATM to make sure they get every last...

This review isn't at all about the casino, but more about the Native American Day Celebration they had on the open field outside of it. The admission was free, so we parked and walked into an open outside area that had vendors, a beer garden and a stage. Not bad; I listened to the bands; they played well. Someone should've slipped the soundperson an extra $10 for better sound because it was heavy on the treble. They also had traditional dancing going on, and prizes for raffle tickets. We didn't do the usual meaning on buy frybread, we just had some ice cream from a vendor. I walked around checking things out, the wife and her friend sat in the beer garden, and the kids played on the open field. I asked a worker at the beer garden if they had coffee for sale, she said no, but she'd get some when her shift changed. Wow! That was nice.

Interested in reading Yelp reviews for the hotel near the casino.

Nice place. We stayed in King Room for $107. No refrigerator or microwave, that would cost another $47 a night. It was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed on site Cafe, good food. My husband and I both hit jackpots at same time, so that was fun! Not sure about breakfast. Peeked at pool, looked okay! Outside so too warm during day to be refreshing according to lady that was in it with her young child. Front desk experience was ok. Would stay again if I could afford the extra $47 a night for fridge. Had leftovers but had to throw away and the food was a bit pricey so that was a bummer. But for $107...it was a bargain!

5/500 stars... I only gave it a good review because Google showcases the 5 star reviews but doesn't showcase the truth... This place is a money hole. You will not win and the machines don't pay anything. I have only made back a portion of whats lost after a few days of losing it. 5k will net you a 1k payout... I have been researching the effects of gambling and I can tell you... it is a dangerous path and the addiction to chance is one of the worst. Play for free on your phone and don't spend a dollar at these places, you will lose everything in the end. Trust.
