We went on a very nice Sunday afternoon and this was our first visit. Entry is 7$ per person and there is no tax. There are bathrooms, showers and locker rentals. The whole pool area is ringed by different seating options including tables, benches and lounge chairs some of which are shaded. There is a raised platform of lounge chairs which make it easy to see the whole park from if you have children in different areas.
Upon entering there is the walk in pool with the childrens area. There is a low wall in the water for sitting on with the very small children and this wall and surrounding water is shaded by an awning. I found that a thoughtful touch for the little ones.
Beyond that is the splash pad with slides and falling water for the slightly older children. This a fun area and not very deep so perfect for id say ages 3 to about 8. Going further the pool goes up to 3 foot 6 inches for the most part with some areas slightly deeper. There is a large swimming area with 9 lanes and lots of areas for different families to have their own space to play and swim.
There are two slides, one long and twisting that falling into about 3.5 ft of water, the other is very short and steep and falls into about 12 ft of water, that one is next to a diving board.
Overall we had a very positive visit and I found this to be the perfect size park. Big enough to be not piles on top of stragers, but not so big that you cant keep tabs on your family. Id highly...
Read moreI booked a pavilion for my sons first birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by a young girl lifeguard who was very rude to my group and refused to let us even enter the park until exactly 11 o’clock which was the time the party started....keep in mind it was literally 4 minutes until the exact time. They made us stand there with arm loads of party supplies outside the gate.. mind you the park was practically empty and we had explained that we only wanted to set up....a young boy lifeguard that said his name was “Stephen” was incredibly rude to my group and the little kids in my group, being seemingly spiteful, and laughed about not letting the kids do the slide when it was his turn to watch the shallow end blue slide, Which they had been sliding on for hours before that. The tables were disgusting under the over priced, pavilion so those had be be cleaned before we were even able to set up. The kids enjoyed themselves the the most part despite the unprofessional staff. But unfortunately we will not spend another dime supporting this facility. They should look into hiring more adult staff to look over all the children if they are going...
Read moreI’ve been coming here since I was young and it’s always been a great environment and super fun. Most kids are polite and respectful but when they aren’t, lifeguards should be a little more stern. My little brother went down the blue slide and as he was going there was a teenager up there turning the water off as people were going down. When I said something to him asking him not to do that because it’s quite rude, him and the lifeguard both looked at me like I was crazy. Same kid then proceeded to turn the water off for me when I went down and for my friend when he went down after me and the lifeguard allowed it to keep happening. Kids would run and push past us as we were trying to go down slides or off the diving board and no lifeguard ever said anything. Please teach your kids to act right in public and if they aren’t acting right, the lifeguards should be the ones to speak up and do...
