I been to & called around to several other furniture stores looking for a big man reclining lift chair for my grandpa, who was involved in a car accident & he had some health issues and was having trouble getting up & down from his old worn out chair at home. The other furnture stores, did not have reclining lift chairs in stock or if they did have some in stock, they were made for a small built person, and the couldn't get the bigger style in to the store till 3-6 weeks or if they were in stock the prices were way overpriced. My cousin & Aunt refered us to Ivan Smith because this is where they got my aunt's lift chair after her surgery. And she loves her chair! We needed that reclining lift chair as soon as possible for my grandpa to use to help him get up & down easy with out any of us kids having to be on call to help him 24/7. Ivan Smith had the best prices, quality of merchandise, customer service, & don't have to wait 3 or more weeks for the furniture to cime in! They told us we could take the display or wait till there truck runs from the warehouse, which runs 2 times a week. We looked the display over & took it my grandpa's house that same evening. He's been sleeping in it and it has been a life saver for all of us in the family since he got this chair & he loves it! Two months later, I still had no furniture, and the wait time had been extended by at least another two months. Read moreWe bought a sectional with three recliners in October. The first recliner broke in November. It didn’t get fixed until February. Within two weeks, the second recliner broke. Two weeks after that, the third recliner broke. We are still waiting for them to get fixed under our warranty. Now, we’re being told that we must pay for a service call for every time poorly made furniture breaks for them to come fix it. Again, it’s under warranty and broken 3 times in less than a year.
