Nice park when its not under water. There are lots of trails for walking or riding a bike. The playground is pretty big and can accommodate kids of all sizes. You can fish in the pond, make sure you have a fishing license and watch out for the geese and ducks. There are lots of turtles in the pond as well and we've seen a few water snakes as well, all harmless. Over the last few years we have started to see 2-3 albino deer in the park, not something you see everyday. There has also been beaver damage to some trees in the last year. They have fenced the tree bases to prevent more damage though I find it interesting to have a beaver in the park. When walking around the pond watch out for the poison ivy on the far side closet to the entrance.

It's a great park, but in my opinion, it's not the best in the Jeffco area. I am trying to walk a different park each week. A plus is all the wellness walk stations with different things to do at each. There are signs from the library, which are cute and a great idea to keep children intrigued during their walk. I enjoyed watching the fish jump and turtles sunbathing. The playground was large, again not as nice as others. I saw Porta potties, no actual restrooms. There are not enough trash receptacles. This brings me to my biggest issue with this park. TRASH & lots of it. I picked up a lot and put it in a trashcan. I will be bringing a trash bag next time I'm coming up. This park is otherwise picturesque.

This is a very nice Park, has a big pond with a fountain and quite a few ducks or geese around the pond, one of the rules is do not feed them, but they are not scared of people, there's plenty of pavilions for group gathering all over the the park mostly in the center, there's are BBQ pits,a big playground for the kids and restrooms right next to the playground,a soccer field, football field, baseball field, frisbee golf and the park is very large with walking trails around it for walking and riding bicycles, pet friendly and very well maintained and clean park grounds with plenty of shade from all the big trees,a relaxing park.

I love Arnold Park. Wonderful place to picnic, playground for children, divided dog park- one side for big dogs- other side for small dogs . There is disc golf - a path to walk thru wooded area - where you can see deer-fawn-turkey and other wild life. It has tennis court. It has a baseball diamond, it has barbecue pits and picnic tables as well as pavillions. It has path around lake - where you can see a heroin, turtles, baby turtles , ducks- baby ducks- racoons-canadian geese- frogs- dragon flyes. There is fishing in the Lake. You can bicycle on the path thru the woods and around the Lake. There are restrooms. There is a hometown feel to Arnold Park. People that go there are friendly. It has a...
