Pawn King — Local services in Arnold Township

If your looking to pawn, sell or buy I can't recommend a shop more than this one! Don't be fooled by shops with the same name in a different location. Your experience will not be the same!

Let me start off by telling everyone that the people at this pawn shop are the absolute best! I have delt with a few different shops in the past but after finding this one, I would never deal with another shop again. I have forgotten about items I had pawned more than once. Unlike other shops they held onto my items for me! Any other shop I've delt with can't wait for you to hit your 30 days so they can sell your items for max dollars! Dirty, but the name of the game i guess? They have a great selection of guns, tools, electronics, and other stuff I didn't even know I needed. They are all very knowledgeable and personable. I've never had a bad experience with this shop in the past and have done many transactions with them. I will continue pawning, selling and buying from them in the future. FYI, don't be confused, this isn't the same pawn king as the one on the illinois side of river. Definitely don't waste your time in Cahokia, it's worth the trip to Arnold!...

Updated 3/19/25 I specifically made plans to check out the displays this weekend and to make some purchases. After the response (4 months later) to my review, you've officially lost my business for life. I managed a local business next to the shop for over 4 years and sent many people in that direction, never again. I've had co-workers and customers purchase everything from rods and reels to tools to firearms. Instead of offering to make contact, they choose to be rude on a public forum. I believe in Missouri State Laws Statute 67 it speaks about closing prior to posted hours as well as deceptive business practices. This business is the epitome of those as well as refuses service to paying customers. Most of the reviews are family and friends not customers in addition to the majority are years old. Maybe respond to reviews when you're not drinking or provide a # to call. There's no circumstance where intending to smear a customer on a public forum is good business. Horrible business people only out to screw the customer and threatening them ... very pathetic excuse for workers. Won’t return. You would think a mans word would mean something now days but to these people they are just a waste of time.. very upset and will be reporting to the BBB highly recommend people do not go unless you want to be talked to by very pathetic people that will lie to your face. The need that they have to try and harass people who are nice people and threaten them after they have done no wrong is beyond me. So save your time and your patience and go to people who will treat you right!
