Majestic View Nature Center — Attraction in Arvada

I had an opportunity to attend a meeting at the Majestic View Nature Center and discover what a great venue it is for get togethers.

The center itself is a nicely maintained building with meeting rooms and kid friendly displays. You are surrounded by incredible scenery and great paths to get out and investigate the area. It happened to be a snowy day while I was there and the Willow Room was a fantastic meeting space. There is a fireplace surrounded by large windows that gave a wonderful view of the winter scene outside.

The perfect getaway. A place to come and relax and enjoy the beauty of nature in the heart of the city. The Nature Center offers an education on the ecology of Colorado, and how nature and the diversity of wildlife figure prominently into that equation.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and the adjacent park offers a break from the minutia of everyday life. This is a great place to take kids, and let them walk the trails and experience a little bit of the outdoors in the city.

We love the nature center! We signed my daughter up for her first class experience (3-4 year olds) and she loved it! Everyone is so welcoming and kind. We have done several classes since that fist one and my daughter still shares nature facts with everyone. It was a great way to see what we needed to work on before I put her in school. I learned a few things too! The prices can't be beat, we paid $15 for the class and have done several other...
