As the Biltmore was on my bucket list, I was especially excited to buy three plants at their shop, A Gardeners Place. I am a master gardener and so took special care that they were well taken care of while I finished my vacation in the area. I drove home and immediately wanted to get my plants in the ground. The Iris I bought had a bad case of rot, having almost no roots whatsoever. I immediately tried to contact the gardeners place but apparently my email was sent to another establishment. I went online to try to find contact information but couldn’t find any. Read moreNot impressed with the knowledge of those working in this establishment. A plant from this shoppe was gifted to me. It was not labled. I emailed 2 photos of the plant to the woman who supposedly is in charge of plant orders. She emailed me back and said it was one of 2 things. Both of which I am 100% sure it is not. A simple online search of the two plant names that were given to me yeild nothing but images of plants that are obviously not the plant in my photograph/possession. Maybe by a stretch of the imagination- similar- but not my plant. I would like to think the people in charge of the plants know something about them... by the looks of the venue they do.... so maybe they just don't care enough about the customer experience to go above and beyond to answer...

I noticed they charged me over twice the listed price for the pots so I had to get a refund. Then once arriving at the car, I noticed one of the succulents wasn’t standing up straight in the soil.
