Tapiola Park — Attraction in Astoria

The main reason I don't love this park is because I'm 66 and the uneven terrain makes it hard for me to walk without falling. There are no pathways, and they layout of the playground makes it hard to let the grandkids run and play because you can only see half the playground from any angle. What I like is the creative items in the park: A boat, several playhouses, and bridges, but again, you cannot keep your kids in sight without moving around all the time. We Met some friends here. The weather was so awesome for all the little tykes around us. The play structures here are fantastic. There was not one child here today, enjoying themselves. It was an amazing playground with fun for all ages. It is a great place to play hide and seek, because there's so many places to hide. There's a separate fenced area with smaller structures for 1-5 year old kids, which makes it easy to keep an eye on them, since this play structure is large and covers a big area.
