Astoria Skate Park — Attraction in Astoria

It's a fun little park. Has a small section for street/beginners. The ground is a bit beaten up and porous, but that's generally gonna happen for most of the old parks of this type. Transition is solid. Coping bumps just the right amount. The deep end is legit vert. Put up some photos and panoramic shots with an 8.5" board for scale.

Was just passing through town and thought I'd check it out. Fun little park.

Small side note. Pebbles are definitely a thing here. Come with a broom if ya wanna try...

This is basically a bix ex-swimmingbpool with no easy access, so, though I'm sure it's great for older, more experienced skate boarders, it may not be so great for less experienced boarders. It's a lil big, mostly bowl, but the transition is smooth into the bowl. Has a cool pump section and stair and ramp. Broke my back truck on the ramp headed up the stairs tho as there's a gnarly crack at the bottom, hopefully that gets fixed. Overall excellent spot. And I got my first drop-ins!!
