We came here for dinner and a treat. We went through the drive-thru and were second in line. We waited for 2 to 3 minutes at the order board for someone to take our order. Once we had given our order and pulled up the car in front of us had already left. We sat there for another 2 to 3 minutes waiting for someone to come to the window so we could pay. Then once we paid we sat another 2 to 3 minutes for them to bring our order to the window. We could see three people rushing around bumping into each other very disorganized. Our order included Blizzards and when she tipped it over to show us how thick it was a big glob dumped out on the ground. That didn't detour her from hanging it to us now with ice cream on the outside of the cup... no napkins... it was a mess. This was not their best day. Because of this we don't feel like we can recommend this place. This is our experience? Hopefully yours is better.

My very first, and probably last, visit to a Dairy Queen. I thought of going rogue and take a chance. I had a fish sandwich and a bannasplit. The fish sandwich was mediocre at best (but I didn't expect much from the get go). The ice cream was actually pretty good! A nice surprise!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Update May 2021: my wife and I thought of having the banana split again. This time, the fruit tasted half rotten. Never again. let's hope we'll survive this.

My family has come to DQ in Astoria for years and one of our favorites is the hot fudge Sunday, however in the last 4 visits we have seen a poor quality in this product. A few weeks ago we ordered the hot fudge Sunday and received chocolate syrup instead of hot fudge. Last 3 times we received barley any hot fudge at all most of the container was just vanilla with barely enough fudge for the top half of the Sunday.

I used to love going to DQ especially this one. I hadn't been for awhile so I figured I'd switch it up a bit and go there. I ordered my food. First thing I noticed was customer service sucked. I got my food and when they brought it to me, they kinda just tossed the box on my table in front of me. The fries were cold and I could definitely tell the oil hadn't been changed in awhile. The chicken was barely warm and the toast was chewy. Needless to say, I didn't eat the rest, I just threw it away, didnt even ask for a refund. On my way out I decided to leave a note for the owner about my experience and I stood at the front counter for 10minutes while the shift lead and another worker were gossiping about another girl by the drive thru window...I heard every word because they weren't very quiet and the restaurant was pretty much dead. The lady who finally came to help me had just gotten off her break and was very helpful and when she asked the shift lead to get a piece of paper and pen for me, the shift lead refused so the lady did it. Mind you the shift lead knows of me and in my opinion should not let personal problems get in the way of doing the job. I cannot and I will not reccommend this place to anyone. I was highly disappointed in it as it did used to be my favorite place growing up and my kids now loved that place as well. Very...

I visit DQ once every few years or so, usually only for ice cream, but this time we needed a quick bite after a long drive so we thought it'd be a good idea to stop for food. We were wrong. The drive thru was very slow; we were asked to pull out of line and wait in the parking lot for our order and ended up waiting at least 15 minutes longer. When our food finally did arrive, we did not get the ice cream cones that are supposed to be included in the kids meals and most of the food was cold except for one item that was scorching hot. The disgruntled looking teen who handed us our food with hardly a "thanks for waiting" ensured we didn't have a chance to check our order or ask about the kids cones as she abruptly walked off after shoving the bag through the window. Needless to say we were irritated but unwilling to waste more time so we cut our losses and left with what we had. Management: teach your staff common courtesy and not to assemble the order until all of the food is ready so it's all...
