Traffic Records — Attraction in Atascadero

I came up from San Luis Obispo, not expecting much as far as records for sale. WOW!! WAS I MISTAKEN! This is the best record store on the Central Coast! Period! Best selection, great bargains as well as desirable, collectible records that I’ve seen in a long time. Bobby was working there, what a pleasure it was talking with him and getting the way the store and records are organized. He’s a super nice person and you can browse at your leisure. There’s no pressure and he was able to answer all the questions that I had. I highly recommend you visit this store, just don’t make the mistake I made. I only allotted an hour to visit the store and I could’ve used for hours there! Best damn record...

Hands down THE BEST record store in SLO County.

You can tell that whoever is curating the collection is passionate and not money grabbing. In here you'll find records ranging from Mind Numbing collectors items to great $5 finds. I'm a fan of stores like this because I always find QUALITY of QUANTITY. For me, this means I don't have to sift through 1,000s of records to find anything (cheap thrills) OR only see brand new stuff for $30 (Boo Boos).

Loved the vibe, the owner is super cool and is also a DJ. Great used and new records and equipment for listening to records. An excellent stop to introduce Atascadero and Arroyo Grande area to yourself. Prices are fair and good value for your money buying used and new. Got a signed copy of Huey Lewis and the news while there for only 2 more than the unsigned copy that was available. Overall, I will always try to stop by and hit the racks...
