My husband and I started going to M3 in June and we love it! We’re both yoga newbies (i.e. we are not good 😂), and we have both learned so much and have both grown in our practices over the last few months. We’re stronger, more flexible, die less during hot power flow, etc. Like others have noted, all levels, abilities, shapes, sizes, non-Lululemon models are welcomed. It’s super chill. The instructors are all wonderful and knowledgeable, and they all have their own flair and personality that comes through in their classes. And if you’re not into yoga, the Inferno classes and Bootycamp are also amazing! The staff and instructors are all incredibly kind and welcoming. They stress a feeling of community, which we personally have not really experienced, but it definitely seems like others have! The instructors and staff will speak to us, at least a greeting, but I think only one or two non-staff have ever said anything to us—or even made eye contact 😂 But we came from CrossFit gyms where everyone is basically family because you all die together multiple times a week, haha, so admittedly, the yoga vibe is different. It’s our first yoga studio, so we have nothing to compare it to. That might be totally normal! :) Regardless, we’re both super thankful for M3 and HIGHLY recommend it...
Read moreI've only been to a few classes so far but I'm really in love with the space. It's intimate without being overdone or forced. I tend to be very shy in new situations but the owners and instructors greeted me so openly and warmly that I felt very at ease after being there for a short while. My first class was a "Restore" class. There was rain water running through the drain outside creating this sense that you were out there in the elements... even while being in a safe, warm nook inside!! It created such a nice envirnonment for a practice. I can't wait to try out some more classes. I'm very pleased with the rate for "community warriors" too. As an MT and a small business owner I don't make a million dollars but I love what I do. So happy that this rate makes a real practice affordable to me. I know students are a large segment of the population here so they get the marketing deals more often than not. So many students are struggling, (while others may not be), but I do know so many local folks who could use the special offers too! So it's just really great to be a recognized/rewared with a discount and treated as a valuable segment of the community for my purpose and...
Read moreLove the community at M3!! I am a new resident to Athens, and M3 has given me a great way to meet like-minded people. Moreover, it’s a great environment, the owners and the teachers are all really wonderful humans and so welcoming, the workouts are great; and there is something for everyone. Instructors are knowledgeable and guide you effectively into poses. Don’t expect hands-on training, the philosophy at M3 is that poses will look different in every body and the cues are really enough- and they are! M3 has become my happy place and if I miss a class I find that I miss the place and people as much as I miss the workout!
I wanted to add to this review now that I have been a member for nearly a year. I continue to fall more and more in love with M3. The instructors, the classes, The variety, the location, and now the friends I have made here (of every age) make it my happy place. Not only that, I have been able to improve my mindset, my health, my flexibility and my strength by making my practice a priority. I love M3 because as I change and grow, they always offer exactly what I need to support me. I’m looking forward to many years of...
