Oconee County Civic Center — Attraction in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

My event was planned in 2024. I signed a contract. I was given one price and because a birthday club destroyed their facility. They changed my prices almost a year later. None of my prices were honored after the first contract. Claimed we destroyed the building but I know for sure the building wasn't destroyed. I had an older crowd. The picture of the damage they claimed happened was never sent to me directly it was sent to my decorator and was taken in the daytime when my event was at night. My coordinator did a walk through with staff the night of the event and was told everything looked good. When I approach the facility to acquire about the deposit the staff was rude. She told me the clean up was actually more than my deposit in a rude manner.I was also told she didn't have the pictures d/t a worker being in a meeting and I still haven't received the pictures. They kept my deposit and was rude about it. One of the workers lied to the director and said I cursed at her which was not true. She wanted to cancel my event automatically. Giant banquet room that can be divided into smaller rooms. Great, large theater with professional lighting and an orchestra pit. Beautiful rotunda, especially at Christmas time. This place is the fine establishment just not very considerate with the parking much less if it is a rainy day and even if you're dropping off someone you're still getting soaken wet.

It's a good theater holds good amount of people good seats just older and in my opinion needs a little updating.
