Mayfield Dairy Visitor Center — Attraction in Athens

We had a great time visiting Mayfield with our daughters. I liked that it really was a visit of the plant, with all the feels and smells of it, and not some kind of museum. The free scoop at the end is generous, and worth the price of entry on its own. But the options are limited unfortunately. I also don’t know how to feel about learning that the exact same milk is bottled as « Mayfield » and « Great Value » (but with a significant price difference...

Drove off the highway, said they have ice cream and tours. Took a million years to find where the ice cream is even sold and then no one was even around to serve ice cream. Very poor setup. Why have a billboard when you don’t serve ice cream. Rude people when even trying to...
