We hired UltraLuxe Mobile Nail Spa to service a bachelorette party. We spoke to Angel, the owner, weeks in advanced and prepaid for the services in full ten days before her scheduled visit. Two massage therapists and Angel arrived two hours late. Since the massage therapists had to leave at a specific time for another spa party, our services were cut short. Angel offered to stay late to complete only the mani/pedi services but we could not accommodate her as we made other plans around the agreed ending time. Angel confirmed we would be refunded for the services we did not receive due to their tardiness. In the days after our encounter with Angel, she avoided our phone calls and made excuses as to why we had not received a refund yet. After filing complaints with Better Business Bureau, PayPal, and our banks, she finally refunded a portion of the services. It’s been over three months and we still have not received the full refund we are owed from her.

To say I am disappointed with this company would be an understatement. I would never recommend this company. I am shocked by the unprofessionalism of the employees, especially the owner. The selection of nail polish was pitiful and many of the bottles would not open because the paint had dried around the rim. There was no foot or leg massage during the pedicure. We had to provide the towels for mani/pedi and the sheets for the massages, as they did not come prepared. The massage therapists did not even change the linen between clients. That is completely unprofessional and unsanitary.

Do not let the word “luxe” fool you. The entire experience was anything but luxurious. If you are looking for quality services and experience, this is not the company.

Within 48 hours, Angel was by my friend's bedside giving her a lovely manicure -- the perfect pick me up and treat, especially when you're stuck in a hospital bed for weeks to heal.
