I absolutely loved the Humane Society thrift store in Auburn. There was so many different unique and cool things to look at and buy I didn't want to leave! I'm going to be going back today because I didn't have enough time to really look through everything they have a lot of unique things and there are certain people that rent spaces and sell their own products they have a lot of great purses clothes and all kinds of unique finds for amazing prices and I love that 30% of each purchase goes to the Humane Society you should definitely check it out it looks small when you go in but it is packed with all kinds of amazing things I promise you'll love it and the stuff in it and the prices! I ended up leaving with a beautiful leather pink purse which pink is my favorite color and it's not a cheap purse it's very nicely made and is not fake leather and I absolutely love it I also purchased a beautiful ring and it's usually very hard for me to find rings anywhere because I have really big fingers but the lady that owned a little section I was in looking at things had several different sizes and had one that I loved that fit me at a really good price I also got a great pair of shorts for my son and a wonderful vintage quilt with all hand done work it's absolutely beautiful and I'm thrilled with my purchases I can't wait to go again so take it from me I love thrift stores and it's rare that you find one like this it's a gem so go in and see them everybody was so friendly I met a couple of the women who owned or rented spaces in there that sold their own things like the woman that was selling the purses and she gave me a discount on the purse just because she was a sweetheart and the lady that sold me the ring and the quilt was also very helpful and we talked about Antiques and things that interested us and it was a really great experience seriously go in and check this place out and you'll also get the warm feeling of knowing that you're also really helping all the fur...
Read moreI was a 16 year customer. Went to the store on Friday April 17th. Wanted to purchase two Ken Griffey Jr jerseys. Made an offer. Clerk said she would get ahold of the vendor and would put the jerseys aside for me. I called later in the day and the clerk said that they hadn’t heard back from the vendor yet. I gave the clerk my name and number. Come The next day, I still hadn’t received a call back. My wife and I decided to purchase the jerseys at full price. So, prior to going to a live Mariners game on Sunday, I drove to the store to purchase. First I was told that the vendor didn’t call back. I responded and said I was ready to purchase. Then they couldn’t find the jerseys. When questioned, they then said that the vendor had shown up, took one of the jerseys and the other one was sold. I was promised that they would hold them and was also promised phone calls about the offers. My wife and I were very excited to have these jerseys for the game. Unfortunately for the store, they have lost a long time customer. We had purchased many jerseys (from the same vendor) over the years as well as dog crates, toys, bikes, collectibles etc. It was one of my go to spots in Auburn for my pets, children and grandchildren. I will never step a foot in that store again. Unfortunately, it will be the pets that hurt the most from our donations.

Read moreThis place is always so kind. I love donating good stuff here that I know people will buy because every dollar helps those little fellas to live the most normal life they possibly can after being ripped away from their homes and placed into a strange place to wait...wait...wait...they say 54 days is a year in a dogs life. Imagine waiting somewhere for 1 year of your life. Would you at least want some delicious food? A comfy bed? Something to entertain you? The staff at Humane Societys wish they could provide it all, but they can't without the help of their community. So if you can't donate money, that's alright...but save a trip to Goodwill, and give your items to a place where the money goes to a place that's worthwhile. Not into the pockets of a corporate billionaire who claims to help people,...
