Phillips Park Family Aquatic Center — Attraction in Aurora Township

Pool area etc we like and enjoy as family. Last year they allowed snacks so I packed some. After rude cashier! ( how hard is to say THANK YOU and PLEASE to paying customers? )

Second person gives you your wrist bands asks to check my bags of course i am happy to open it and show. She sees the snacks and says its not allowed. I was like ok sorry last year we brought some so my bad. Can I go in leave my two small children with a friend Inside? I will take the snacks leave them in my car after. She says no. Seriously you expect me to walk back to the car two bags and two small children??? Where is the common sense in this? Clearly person too young to have kids of her own! So I left the snacks with her which were like couple of gold fish and two chips said she can have them!

Very disappointed other then that it was a week day so not over crowded, restaurant was nice. Kids really...

Lucky of all 4 slides are working...the lifeguards never monitor the tubes so your stuck waiting in line while the same 10 kids use the only 10 tubes for hours...others judt standing there guarding their tune with their life lol.. I asked the lifeguard if they had some sort of system and if they are supposed to put tube back once they ride, and get back to end of line. He said yes and then stood there while this continued. We gave up and didnt get to ride the slides. The pool is ok but its primarily a kids pool. It looks like theres roped off areas for laps but people were hanging out there so that couldn't be done either. Was nice to relax in the shallow end.. but that was only fun for so long. Seems as if they need some structure and it could be better. ...

never going here again, i literally got kicked in the spine from a lifeguard coming down the slide because the lifeguard who is supposed to make sure you made it to the end was not doing his job and it resulted in him kicking me in my spine at full force. and when we went to another lifeguard, she refused to tell us who the name of the guy at the top, the manager refused to give me a refund, and only made an incident report after she realized that i was actually in severe pain. do not go to this park, they do not care for your safety, and they do not give you refunds after their own employees injure you due to their negligent behavior. fire Ryan and fire that little white girl who was trying to defend her friend from...
