FYI, they don’t have the alligators anymore! My son was disappointed (we had hyped them up!). They do have a few smaller reptiles, a bald eagle and other birds, goats, chickens, wolves, and a playground around the corner.
Overall, an ok little place to walk around and see a few animals. The garden looked nice and the grounds were pretty. However, be prepared for the restroom situation. I was disappointed that the visitor’s center and restrooms were all closed when I went around 11:30 am on a Monday even though the hours say 9 am online. Read morewell there was a bad thunder storm yesterday 7-23-17. thunder, lightning, hail and high winds. well when the storm started all the kids and adults at the splash pad went running trying to get into the visiting center the worker that was there locked the doors and left all these kids and adults outside in the storm.
