Austin Art Services — Attraction in Austin

They were really great! New homeowner, and we recently purchased a couple large, heavy artworks. The best place to put them was a wall in our stairwell, but there was no way we would be able to do it on our own because of the height, stairs and 50lbs+ weight of each piece. I found AAS after googling "art hanging service," and since I hadn't ever done anything like this, I reached out to three different places that popped up. They all quoted reasonable rates and seemed nice so it was a tough choice, but I'm so glad I went with AAS. They sent a team of 2, who showed up right on time. The guys were friendly and professional and careful to explain everything. They were also super skilled, worked quietly, and I was amazed how much care they took in the tight working space with the ladders and equipment. (No banged up stairwells or walls or any mess whatsoever). They were also done in about half the time I expected things to take. Will definitely reach out to them the next time we have a tricky art...

Terrible. I needed a simple art handler's job and after weeks of requesting a call I was finally able to talk to Kirk, the owner, who asked for an inspection visit to the site. The inspection took place and they confirmed the job and gave me an appointed time and date. I travelled internationally to oversee this and asked them for a second inspection to confirm the job could be done. They came for the second inspection and once again, in person, confirmed the installation. Then, 24 hours before, they cancelled claiming absurd and presumptuous liability fears. No apologies, but quite the opposite; a conceited and smug attitude about their cancellation....

Austin Art Services is absolutely the company to call when you have art that needs to be hung and displayed - Mike, Matt and Bob were very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient , affordable - the absolute BEST! We've been in our office space for 5 years and it finally feels like home. Austin Art Services does a lot more than just hang art ; you'll have to check out their website, but we won't buy another piece of art for the office without making sure Austin Art Services can place it in the right place for us....
