This is by far one of the best farmers markets Iâve been to as far as quality craft products from local farmers and vendors. Only a couple stands for buying fresh produce and farm fresh eggs wish there were a couple more everyone sold out of eggs but is dead of summer so fruits and veggies are limited. Got there at 10:30 and it was overwhelming busy the new building is very nice but not big enough for the large crowd that it attracts. Usually farmers markets are a quaint relaxing experience this felt like going to a state fair. Parking on the street is free on Sundayâs which is nice but it took over 20 mins of driving around to find a spot to park so get there early! Quite a few bakery vendors selling sweets and treats. A few local farms selling incredible quality meats, fish, and handmade sausage! If you buy local often you know the prices are reasonable for fresh off the farm. Outside were some local jewelry and more art forward vendors. There was a whole line of food vendors selling fresh made food from empanadas, tacos, tamales, perogies, and more! And a wonderful coffee place Talisman coffee with a great story and great cold brew hoping to open a store front soon! Itâs pretty crowded and busy but you can walk outside the building to get some space and air. Mueller is also a very nice neighborhood in general for...
Read moreWe visited the Texas Farmers Market at Mueller while staying with my daughter, who lives nearby, and the experience was delightful. We walked from her house, making the 2-mile round-trip stroll part of the adventure, and it was a perfect day to enjoy the market.
Parking is reasonable and usually available within a block or two, but the real highlight is the variety of fresh produce. I picked up some enormous zucchinisâeach three to four times the size of supermarket onesâat $4 a pound, and they were worth every penny for their size and freshness. The market offers a wide array of other products, from fresh pastries and baked goods to homemade canned items like jellies, pickles, and various fermented foods.
The outdoor food scene is vibrant, with grills serving up different types of meat, filling the air with mouthwatering aromas, even though I didnât partake since Iâm a vegetarian. The atmosphere is lively, and itâs a very dog-friendly placeâsomething to keep in mind if you enjoy or prefer to avoid crowds and pets.
Overall, the market is a great place to visit if youâre in the Mueller area, with lots of fresh, quality options and a fun, bustling atmosphere. Highly...
Read moreSo many great vendors here! This market is a great way to spend a Sunday morning. There are all kinds of great produce stands for your veggies, some food stands for a quick bite, and all kinds of other interesting fare. And the aqua fresca stand is a must-visit, of course. There are lots of gluten-free and dairy-free options as well. Great spot to grab some groceries for the week and hang out. Plus, there is a park with some water features for the tots and a dog park for the pups, so you can bring the whole family. I recommend getting there early because parking can be a bit of a hassle if you go later in the afternoon, and some vendors will run out of stuff, so earlier is better to avoid both of those headaches.
I visit this market every weekend, and I always look...
