Shaded splash pad with plenty of seating and parking surrounded by a small and big kid playground/playarea. There's also a gazebo area that would be great for hosting a party, however it was occupied by seemingly homeless folks.
There were bathrooms as well, but I didn't bother using them, seemed like they likely would have been in rough shape. They also had a few portables by the parking lot.
We were at the farmers market in muelller and that splash pad was off for whatever reason. It was SO hot we were desperate to cool off the kids and walked to Bartholomew. Read moreWe come here pretty frequently during the summer. Pros: Splash pad is covered so there is shade and an area for parents to sit There's often kids from a near by school or day care that come as a group so there's always somebody else to play with There are several playscapes and swings for older kids and toddlers so it's really a great play area Several areas with picnic tables that are covered
Cons: Sometimes the splash pad doesn't work during times when it should. The area around the splash pad and picnic tables could use some regular cleaning (picking up of trash and muddy leaves/brush) There is always several homeless people sitting under the picnic area where the bathrooms are. I've never seen them be an issue but it is a deterrent if i'm there...

We left for about 30 minutes and went back. The woman was still there with more containers and clothes. I was so disappointed. I would love to see this area cleaned up and rebuilt for our kids. As of now Im not bringing my daughter back...
