This a fantastic park! The playground has something for everyone. A Large playground structure, toddler area, jungle gyms, merry-go-round, swings, and a nature play area.
The large play structure is a 3 story wonder. The first level has lounge swings, small handhold climbing wall, and small windows for whatever children can imagine. The second level has ADA stairs, ladder, fire pole, a small rope climb, and a fun open top slide. The third level is accessible via climable landings. Once at the top kids can survey their kingdom from look out or take the super long enclosed slide back to the bottom.
The main playground has mix of soft rubber ground and wood chips. There is a jungle gym that is true to the name. It is constructed of wood poles and thick ropes. The ADA merry-go-round is flush with the rubberized floor and allows for anyone to sit or stand while it is spun. The last climbing structure is all about balance! All obstacles are set about 18 inches above the ground. Kids can practice walking across a suspension bridge, balance beam, swinging beam, monkey bars, and small twisted rope feature. The swings include a standard swing, disc swing, and a friend & me swing.
On the far side is a small toddler area with a climbable purple dinosaur. The ground is fake grass. There is a short but steep slide for adventurous tots.
The nature play area has a fun hut built out of branches. Lots of stumps to balance or hide behind. What realy stood out was the bunches of free branches to let your builders create their own fort or shelter.
The main picnic area is shaded with lots of trees, features 6 picnic tables, 3 benches and a water fountain...
