They did a great job renovating this park to make it family friendly and for kids of all ages and abilities. My 1.5 yo and 4.5 yo loved the different areas of this park- from the tall playscape to the low treehouse, and from the swing set to the natural balance beams/stepping logs. There are lots of fidgety type things for the littles, rope and climbing structures for the olders, and slides and sound makers for any age. Everything seems to be well made, lots of picnic tables, trees for shade everywhere. What makes this place even better is the wooded trail system (see my other review for the trails) around it with a beautiful clear river, and a paved path for biking or scooters etc. and of course the pool in the summers and sports fields. There’s an abundance of parking spots. Picnic tables and the majority of the playground in the SHADE, this people to me is crucial in this heat. The swings didn’t get hot. There’s a swing that adult and baby can swing on. (Plus it doesn’t creak lol)
